OSCFM scoops multi-million pound deal with OSiT

Workspace cleaning and hygiene firm, Office Space Cleaning and Facilities Management (OSCFM), has secured a five-year, multi-million pound contract with one of London’s leading serviced office space providers, Office Space in Town (OSiT).

The deal reflects the successful long-standing cooperation between the two companies, and OSiT’s commitment to making workspace cleanliness a key extension of its ongoing ESG efforts.

With a £220 million portfolio of five buildings in the Capital, the new deal will also help OSiT support its corporate tenants as they strive to encourage staff to return to the office, at a time when many are still hesitant following the pandemic. A recent OSCFM survey showed that basic hygiene gripes are stopping over a third of employees from returning to the office.

With only some 70 per cent of workers having returned to their desks by the summer, according to data released by Google, both companies say this latest cleaning deal is an illustration of how businesses can help each other in this area, and supports wider moves to have workers return to the office and addresses any hygiene concerns, which are clearly still a factor in discouraging staff from returning to their desks.

James Carver, Managing Director of OSCFM said: “OSCFM has been proud over the last few years to be OSiT’s chosen cleaning partner, and this new multi-million-pound deal reaffirms our companies’ commitment to ensuring that employees have access to hygienic workplaces. We look forward to continuing to ensure that workers returning to the office feel confident in the cleanliness, safety, and resilience of their workplace.”

Georgia Sandom, Operations and ESG Director of OSiT added: “This new deal with OSC reaffirms OSiT’s long-standing commitment to its Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) pledge aimed at both improving its cleaning operations. Over the last few years, OSC has been indispensable to ensuring that OSiT meets the highest standards of workplace cleanliness and hygiene, and we look forward to continuing to work closely with James and his team to champion workspace cleanliness.”
