SPIE UK, a division of the Imtech Group, has been awarded an initial 36-month framework contract with Maryhill Housing Association to service and repair the door entry systems across its estate in Maryhill and Ruchill in northwest Glasgow.
The technical service provider will be responsible for the planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs of door entry systems to over 300 properties. Within the scope of work, the properties under the project include low rise and high rise multi storey blocks.
The Maryhill Housing Association is a charitable, community-based housing association owning over 3,100 homes which include tenements, retirement housing and multi-storey apartments. The association undertakes a significant amount of regeneration activity to ensure that properties in Maryhill and Ruchill are maintained at a high standard for tenants. SPIE UK was chosen due to the team’s ability to deliver a tailor-fit solution that ensures the properties are properly protected with the emphasis placed on providing cost effective solutions utilising the latest technology with an impartial approach to product selection.

The contract comes with the option to extend it by a further 24 months.

In this survey we’ve posed a series of questions which include insights into FMs’ waste management strategy and targets, how they’re moving towards zero waste targets, and the importance of not just meeting compliance targets but also ESG goals.
The results of the 2023 survey will be published in FMJ magazine and form the basis of a white paper co-written by FMJ and the experts at Grundon on how to approach waste and recycling strategies.
