Olly Cutting has been appointed to role of Head of M&A at Tendra Technical Services, where he will lead the company’s acquisition strategy.
Established by the Triton Smaller Mid-Cap Fund II in December 2025, Tendra says it is set to become a “leading and trusted household name” in UK technical services for the built environment sector.
A qualified accountant with extensive experience in private equity and M&A, Cutting’s previous roles include an Investor position for UK equity investment giant, BGF, and Director of M&A for home services company, Hometree. For the latter, Cutting led the acquisition of OVO Home Services while securing strategic investment from Pollen Street Capital, which more than doubled the size of the group and set strong foundations for future growth and development.
In joining Tendra, Cutting will now lead all group M&A activity to deliver on its overarching objective to bring together the best businesses in technical services for the built environment, and empower them with the national structure, technology and investment to grow.
Cutting said: “I’m excited to be joining Tendra at such a defining stage for the business. The combination of an exceptional leadership team together with Triton backing is a real differentiator. We have already partnered with four outstanding management teams and we have the hunger, expertise and the capital in place to build with real momentum.
“Technical services for the built environment is a large, fragmented market that is genuinely ripe for consolidation, and we have the backing, the pipeline and the people to make a meaningful impact. So, watch this space…”
Greg Davies, CEO of Tendra added: “Olly is exactly the calibre of person we need to help us deliver on our ambitions. His background in private equity and M&A, combined with hands-on experience of complex, high-value transactions, makes him ideally placed to lead our acquisition strategy at pace. He knows what good looks like and more importantly, he knows how to make it happen. We’re delighted to welcome him to the team and are in no doubt he will play a pivotal role in the growth and development of Tendra moving forwards.”
Tendra Technical Services currently comprises of The James Mercer Group, Fletchers Engineering, Coat Facilities Group and Dynamic FM.
