Two senior leadership team appointments at Novus

National maintenance contractor, Novus Property Solutions, has made two board-level appointments, with construction industry specialists Andy Finn and Steve Gayter joining the business to boost delivery across services and achieve ambitious growth targets.

Finn joined the business in early 2024 as Finance Director, bringing with him extensive experience in finance within the construction sector. As part of his role, Finn has functional responsibility for the Finance team, including reporting, forecasting, internal controls and risk management, working closely with other Board members to deliver business strategy and contribute to growth.

Commenting on his new role, Finn said: “I’m pleased to have joined Novus earlier this year, at what is a very exciting time for the business under the leadership of its new CEO. I strongly resonate with Novus’ values, and my hands-on approach will make a visible contribution to the company’s growing success.”

Gayter recently joined Novus’ senior leadership team as Executive Director and will work alongside Andy Finn, Matt Hiley and David Leach at board level. He is responsible for overseeing the delivery and performance of Novus’ social housing maintenance division, and his leadership and vision will play a crucial role in shaping the success and growth of this side of the business.

Gayter said: “Novus’ family-led values and the vision for the business directly link to my own values, goals and aspirations. I’m looking forward to playing a role in continuing to build on its legacy and working with the team to create a stronger, more successful business that delivers excellence to its customers and continues to put people first.”

These recent additions follow the appointment of longstanding colleague Lee Hartley as CEO at the beginning of 2024, ensuring Novus’ senior leadership team comprises the ideal combination of new thinking and continuity.
