Integrated property services company, The Momentum Group based in the North west, has acquired Liverpool-based residential block management specialists, Central Property Management Liverpool (CPM).
The deal marks a significant milestone for The Momentum Group, broadening its skillset and client base as it focuses on further expansion.
Founded in 2011 by Lisa and Sean Duffy, CPM manages a large portfolio of buildings, both mixed-use and solely residential, including some of the city’s most prestigious residential developments, such as West Tower.
The purchase significantly strengthens Momentum Manage’s residential property management capabilities, with its current portfolio including properties in the Liverpool City region and London. CPM’s expertise and established residential management systems will bring valuable additional knowledge and experience to The Momentum Group, while creating opportunities to enhance its services and processes.
The acquisition will see CPM continue to trade under its established brand as part of The Momentum Group, with no immediate changes to the day-to-day service received by existing clients and the current CPM team will remain in place.
Chris Bliss Co-founder of The Momentum Group, said: “The Momentum Group’s acquisition of CPM makes two already strong businesses even stronger, capable of achieving even greater things for their clients. Both companies prioritise the quality of service they provide, delivering with genuine care and a real focus on maintaining the highest standards. Together with our existing expertise in Momentum Manage, our property management specialism is now one of the best, if not the best, in the Liverpool city region. This creates a great platform from which to grow, and will yield additional benefits to our other specialisms – Advise, Build and Maintain.”
Sean Duffy, Co-founder of CPM, added: “From our earliest conversations with Chris Bliss and Chris Renshaw, it became clear that we shared very similar values and a common approach to looking after clients, supporting colleagues, and building long-term relationships.
“We were also impressed by the scale and breadth of expertise within Momentum. The group brings together a range of complementary services and specialist knowledge that will enhance what CPM can offer to both existing and future clients.”
Lisa Duffy, Co-founder of CPM, also commented: “Joining The Momentum Group marks the start of the next chapter in CPM’s journey and gives us the platform, resources and expertise to deepen our impact within the Liverpool property market.”
The acquisition coincides with a refresh of the Momentum Group’s structure, with the company offering four specialisms – Advise, Build, Manage and Maintain – that reflect the different stages of a property’s lifecycle. CPM will form part of Momentum’s Manage specialism.
