Kingdom merges its technology and systems divisions

Kingdom Services Group, a provider of specialist services in the UK has merged its technology and systems companies which are now operating under the sole name of Kingdom Systems.

The merge will enable Kingdom to provide a specialist, bespoke service to its technology and systems customers but do so more collaboratively within one division and one team, which Kingdom says will have many obvious benefits for its customers such as a single point of contact and a greater holistic view and understanding of the business.

The strategic merge sees current Kingdom Systems Managing Director, Iain Macintosh, leading the combined divisions with all colleagues retaining their roles.

Macintosh, said: “I am delighted to be spearheading the new, combined technology and systems division. It’s a really interesting and exciting time in our strategic growth for the Group, and we’re very much looking forward to playing a key role in realising our ambitions.”

The industries Kingdom Systems covers include construction, commercial, government and infrastructure. Within these, Kingdom Systems are working with sector-leading companies, groups and organisations to provide CCTV, fire, access control, intruder alarms and barrier systems.

The new combined divisions will also gain from greater expertise, enhanced offerings, specialist knowledge, opportunities and all the added value benefits that come from a 7000+ colleague and £250 million turnover organisation.

As Kingdom Systems is part of the wider Kingdom Services Group, the new division will operate in a UK-wide network of 18 offices including Glasgow, Birmingham, London, Edinburgh and Belfast with its National Support and Command Centre based at Newton-le-Willows. Kingdom also operates in India.

Taking place TOMORROW 11th October at 11am – Webinar: Use of tech in helping FMs deliver ESG

FMJ, in partnership with PlanRadar, is pleased to bring together a panel of experts to discuss achieving ESG using the power of digitisation.

According to the Environmental Audit Committee (EAC) the UK’s built environment is responsible for 25 per cent of the UK’s greenhouse gas emissions, and a large proportion of the commercial stock in the UK requires further investment to become environmentally sustainable. With climate deadlines looming, urgent action is needed.

The pandemic taught us the importance of utilising digital technology to protect people. FMs are now aware of the use of accurate data to help manage assets as well as occupants, by streamlining maintenance programmes, monitoring building assets performance and measuring the amount of energy being used.

FMs have a key role in meeting ESG goals, which include:

* Environment: Meeting sustainability goals, including net zero targets, waste reduction and recycling

* Social: Maintaining health and safety, delivering social value, equality and diversity, duty of care and investment in skills

* Governance: Compliance with all regulatory requirements and legislation, and reducing errors by the use of robust data processes.

The webinar will take place on the 11th October at 11am.

If you are unable to attend please register and we will send through a recording of the event post webinar.
