With new research from Mitie showing that more than a fifth (21 per cent) of organisations are unprepared for imminent regulatory requirements, Mitie is today launching its Total Facilities Compliance service to help organisations navigate an increasingly complex and evolving regulatory landscape.
As estates grow in scale and complexity, and regulatory expectations continue to evolve, organisations are increasingly managing compliance across multiple suppliers, systems and teams, making it harder to maintain a clear and consistent view across operations.
To support customers in navigating these challenges, Mitie’s new Total Facilities Compliance service brings together multi-service expertise across fire, security, water, engineering compliance, electrical testing and certification, building safety, air quality, asbestos and environmental compliance into a single, integrated, technology-enabled model.
Built on enhanced environmental, water, fire and security management capabilities following the acquisition of Marlowe, Mitie will deliver joined-up compliance at scale, covering everything from fire safety and electrical testing to water hygiene, air quality and asbestos management.
By combining accredited specialists, advanced technology and deep expertise, Mitie says it can support organisations in simplifying compliance and meeting regulatory requirements in a more consistent and coordinated way.
To mark the launch, Mitie is convening senior leaders from across the UK’s built environment at its inaugural Future of Facilities Compliance event, taking place at Centre Parcs, Woburn.
The event will bring together more than 100 leaders across sectors including healthcare, transport and infrastructure to explore how organisations can take a more integrated, forward-looking approach to facilities compliance.
Speakers include Verity Mitchell, Water Analyst at The UK Water Report; Lyvia Nabarro, Head of Market Engagement at MOSL; Adam Johnson, CEO of Water Direct; Martin Watson, Chair of the British Security Industry Association; and Dame Judith Hackitt DBE, former Chair of the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), who led the Independent Review of Building Regulations and Fire Safety following the Grenfell Tower tragedy. They will explore evolving regulatory frameworks, increasing compliance pressures and what this means for organisations managing complex estates
