RFM (Robertson Facilities Management) has won a £10 million contract for the delivery of integrated hard and soft facilities management services at Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh.
The contract, awarded via the Crown Commercial Framework, will run for five years and covers the full university campus, including academic buildings, public spaces and halls of residence.
Services to be provided by RFM include planned and reactive building maintenance, mechanical and electrical services, plumbing, small works projects, cleaning and waste management, delivered through a total facilities management approach.
The contract also incorporates services for the Edinburgh Innovation HUB, which is due to be brought into scope over the next 12 to 18 months.

The appointment further strengthens the RFM higher and further education portfolio, building on its experience delivering NEC4 and integrated FM contracts across the public sector.
