The Clean Space lands multi-site win with Wavenet

Wavenet has selected specialist commercial cleaning company, The Clean Space, as its preferred cleaning and washroom services supplier across its UK Work Area Recovery estate.

Wavenet provides secure, fully equipped office environments for contracted customers whose staff need an alternative place to work if they are unable to access their usual workplace. Its UK network comprises nine business continuity centres and around 4,000 fully equipped desk positions, located within easy reach of major commercial hubs.

The agreement covers daily cleaning and washroom services across sites in Aston, Manchester, Wakefield, Bristol, Romford, Sevenoaks, Wapping and Canterbury. The appointment marks a new phase in the management of cleaning services across Wavenet’s estate, with a focus on greater consistency, reporting and operational visibility across multiple locations.

The Clean Space will introduce a standardised delivery model, including defined tasking, regular auditing and centralised consumables management. The contract will also include investment in new equipment and the alignment of on-site teams through a managed TUPE process.

Digital tools will also be used to support service oversight, including QR code access to key compliance documents and monthly reporting to provide clear visibility of service performance. The Clean Space will also support Wavenet’s environmental objectives through the introduction of more environmentally responsible cleaning products.

Each location will be supported by a dedicated Contract Manager, responsible for mobilisation, ongoing performance and client liaison, backed by The Clean Space’s wider operational structure to ensure consistent delivery across all sites.

Stefano Cabras, Managing Director at The Clean Space, said: “Wavenet operates a highly specialist estate where service reliability, consistency and visibility are essential. Our role is to provide a structured, well-managed cleaning model that supports those operational requirements across multiple locations.”

Derek Parkin, Facilities Operations Manager at Wavenet, commented: “We were looking for a partner that could deliver consistency across multiple sites while improving visibility of service delivery. The Clean Space demonstrated a clear and structured approach aligned to those requirements, and we are looking forward to building a strong working partnership.”
