Ben Munn has been appointed to the role of Managing Director at workplace strategy consultancy, UnWork, where he will lead the firm’s business with London and New York as key markets.
Munn joins UnWork with more than 25 years of experience in workplace strategy, real estate consulting and the flexible workspace sector. He previously led CBRE’s workplace strategy function on a global basis and headed JLL’s Flex business, also globally. Most recently, he was CEO of David Phillips, a design, fitout and furnishing company serving the residential sector.
Through his career, Munn has advised many of the organisations UnWork counts among its own clients, including Google, Barclays, JPMorgan Chase, HSBC and Clifford Chance, on how their workplaces can better support business performance.
The appointment comes as demand grows for evidence-led workplace strategy. As organisations move beyond hybrid working policy to focus on how physical workplaces drive performance, culture, collaboration and talent outcomes, businesses are increasingly seeking specialist expertise to align people, place, technology and commercial strategy – including how AI and data can be used to inform workplace decisions. UnWork says Munn’s appointment strengthens its ability to meet that demand at scale globally, with London and New York as key markets.
