Aramark delivers over £175 million in social value across the UK in 2025

Foodservice partner, Aramark UK, has revealed it delivered over £175 million in social value across the UK in 2025, reinforcing its sustained commitment to investing in the communities it serves. This includes supporting over 4,200 local jobs and delivering 4,050 weeks of apprenticeships.

The figure reflects activity from across Aramark’s UK business, independently verified by the Social Value Portal against four key measures: economy, work, community and planet. The result demonstrates how Aramark is embedding social value into day-to-day operations — turning commitments around employment, skills, supply chain and community engagement into measurable, real-world outcomes.

Across its workplace, education, government services and sports & entertainment sectors, Aramark’s UK operations delivered tangible outcomes during 2025, including:

  • Supporting over 4,200 local jobs, helping people access employment within their communities
  • Delivering more than 4,050 weeks of apprenticeships, creating long-term career pathways across the sector
  • Investing £1.8 million with micro, small and medium-sized businesses, helping to build resilient local supply chains and reduce environmental impact
  • Contributing over 1,400 hours of volunteering, supporting community initiatives across the UK
  • Donating £48,000 to UK charities and organisations, including Natasha’s Allergy Research Foundation (NARF) and YoungMinds

The scale and consistency of delivery were recognised by the Social Value Portal.

Guy Battle, CEO, Social Value Portal, said: “£175 million of independently validated Social Value in a single year is a significant result – one that reflects both ambition and strong execution. From 4,100 local jobs, to apprenticeship programmes, community volunteering days, and millions of pounds of investment into local supply chains and small businesses, Aramark’s commitment to positive impact is delivering real, measurable benefit for communities.”

Aramark says it will continue to build on this progress.

Victoria Joseph, Head of Communications & ESG commented: “It’s an honour to see the positive difference our teams are consistently making across the UK. Behind every figure validated is a real outcome, whether that’s someone starting their career, a local business being supported, or a community organisation benefiting from our time and investment.

“This is just one step in a long-term journey grounded in our core values. By continuing to take a social-value first approach to how we operate, we remain focused on creating even further opportunities and lasting positive impact that drives real change.”
