The senior living division of Compass Group UK & Ireland, White Oaks, has secured a new contract with not-for profit provider of Retirement Living and Extra Care – Housing 21.
The terms of the deal, see White Oaks providing resident catering services for approximately 300 residents across seven developments in London and an Extra Care independent living development in Burgess Hill, West Sussex. All eight sites offer a daily lunch menu designed to provide a consistent, balanced meal with a focus on comforting, traditional dishes and familiar flavours.
Menus feature a variety of well-established favourites alongside lighter alternatives, all supported by a choice of vegetables and sides. Nutritional information is clearly presented, with dishes labelled for calorie content as well as identified as vegetarian, healthy choice, or high protein, enabling informed meal selection. Meals are freshly prepared and served in a communal setting, supporting a structured and sociable dining experience.
As part of the agreement, 40 employees have transferred to White Oaks.

This contract award follows on from a number of recent contract wins across hospices, care homes and assisted living facilities.
