ABM augments its transport profile with Eurostar UK operations win

Services provider ABM has been appointed by international high-speed transport operator Eurostar to deliver cleaning solutions across key UK operational locations, including the iconic St Pancras International station.

In support of Eurostar’s ambition to carry 30 million passengers annually by 2030, ABM will deliver technology-enabled and data-driven solutions across Eurostar’s UK operations. The win highlights ABM’s growth plans across the rail, maritime and bus sectors, leveraging expertise gained from serving more than 75 airports worldwide and supporting millions of passengers annually.

The partnership will introduce a technology-enabled approach to service delivery, using enhanced operational reporting, digital workforce management tools and real-time performance insights to improve operational visibility and drive continuous improvement. ABM will deliver services across Eurostar’s key sites, including train and station cleaning at St Pancras International, in-transit and office cleaning, and facilities services at Temple Mills Depot, alongside support for the depot shuttle bus service. Aligned with Eurostar’s sustainability ambitions, the contract will incorporate environmentally responsible cleaning practices, resource-efficient operations and data-led reporting to support ESG performance and outcomes.

ABM has deployed 200 team members across Eurostar hubs and is providing 24-hour support to meet the operational demands of one of Europe’s busiest international rail services.

Richard Sykes, SVP and President ABM UK&I, said: “We’re proud to be working with Eurostar, one of Europe’s most recognisable rail brands and a vital connection between the UK and mainland Europe. From the outset, we worked closely with the Eurostar team to understand the complexities of the operation and the experience they want every passenger to have when travelling through their stations and services.

“Our track record across major transport hubs demonstrates our ability to deliver consistent, high-quality cleaning services in a complex international rail environment. From Heathrow Airport to London’s Underground, our teams already support some of the busiest transport hubs in the UK. Leveraging our ability to provide complex, high-profile services at scale – alongside strong frontline leadership and data-led insight – we are focused on delivering efficient, welcoming environments that keep standards high and ensure passengers enjoy a consistently excellent journey.”
