Atlas Security takes deal at The Carter

Atlas Security has been awarded a new contract with BNP Paribas Real Estate (BNPPRE) for the provision of 24/7 security services at The Carter in the City of London.

Services include manned guarding, CCTV monitoring, post room and loading bay management.

The Carter is the sustainable Grade A redevelopment of an existing building, creating a new 7th floor extension and rooftop green space, with spectacular views of St Paul’s Cathedral. Other amenities include a reFIT gym and studio, offering immersive classes and workouts, and a sophisticated business lounge.

As a new development, Atlas Security recruited a new team which oversaw the security solution from practical completion, through fit out, to creating a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for the new occupiers and visitors.

The contract extends Atlas Security’s portfolio with the leading real estate company.

Sradha Dattani, Building Manager, BNPPRE commented: “The Carter and our main tenant, a global advisory firm, require a premium solution which ensures security and delivers a world class experience. Atlas Security has provided this, and their senior team have evolved the services to meet our needs as the redevelopment has progressed.”

Gary Stanton, Managing Director Atlas Security, said: “BNPPRE is a valued client, and we are very pleased to be working with them. This contract extends our relationship with the team and demonstrates our expertise in the provision of high-end security solutions which protect the City’s landmark buildings.”

Navigating FM efforts to sustainability

As environmental protection demands unified action, transparency, and heightened awareness, Biological Preparations has launched an initiative to catalyse sustainability efforts within the FM sector.

FM businesses face unique challenges and heightened expectations of eco-initiatives from their clients. Yet, behind the scenes in FM businesses, many environmental initiatives, rollouts and even planning, are not broadcasted and transparent.

Have your say: Sustainability Trends in FM

The UK biotech company’s five-minute, anonymous FM-focused survey, offers FM professionals of all hierarchies with a platform to voice their perspectives and share their experiences.
