Complii announces Celtic Fire Security acquisition

Complii, a UK leading provider of building safety and regulatory compliance services, has strengthened its fire safety capabilities and broadened the group’s geographical reach, following its acquisition of Celtic Fire Security.

With over 40 years of experience in the fire safety sector, Celtic Fire Security delivers a comprehensive range of fire safety services, including fire alarm installation and maintenance, fire extinguisher installation and maintenance, fire risk assessments, emergency light testing, dry riser, fire hose reels, fire safety signage, fire awareness training, and fire extinguisher supply across a full range of types. The company’s client base spans residential, commercial, industrial, and public sector environments across Wales and beyond.

The acquisition represents the latest step in Complii’s accelerating growth strategy, through which the group has rapidly expanded its service portfolio to offer clients a single, trusted partner for every major area of building compliance – spanning water, air, fire, electrical, and lifts and escalators. With Celtic Fire Security now part of the group, Complii’s fire division gains additional depth of expertise and a strengthened operational presence in Wales and the surrounding region.

Sarah Dixon, Group CEO of Complii, said: “Welcoming Celtic Fire Security to the Complii Group is another exciting moment in our journey. Graham, Dale and their team have built an outstanding business – one with real expertise, a dedicated workforce, and a loyal customer base. That is exactly the kind of business we want to bring into Complii. This acquisition deepens our fire safety offering and extends our reach into new geographies, and I look forward to seeing what we achieve together as part of one group.”

Scott McKay, Group Managing Director – Fire & Lifts at Complii, commented: “This acquisition is a significant moment for our fire division. Celtic Fire Security has built something genuinely impressive in Wales and the wider region – a loyal customer base, a skilled team, and a strong name in the market. Bringing that into Complii gives us a platform to extend our fire safety offering in an area where we see real opportunity for growth.”

Graham Stott, Managing Director of Celtic Fire Security, added: “Joining Complii feels like a natural next step for Celtic Fire Security. We have always been driven by a commitment to delivering the best possible service for our clients, and becoming part of a group with the same values and standards gives us an exceptional platform to grow. Our team will continue to do what they do best – the difference is that we now have the resources and network of a leading national compliance group behind us.”

Celtic Fire Security will continue to operate under its established brand and be led by its existing team, ensuring continuity of service for customers.
