Consortio Security appointed for guarding services at The Range

The Range, a leading multi-channel retailer selling products in the home, garden, and leisure categories, has selected Consortio Security to provide guarding services at its five distribution and multi-channel fulfilment centres across the UK.

Consortio Security’s service solution will see a considerable investment through training in the personnel that will deliver the service, provide a pipeline of prospective recruits for The Range’s loss prevention teams, and will reduce costs over the term of the agreement through an investment in technology.

Simon Ford, Head of Loss Prevention for The Range, said: “After reviewing several tender submissions, Consortio’s commitment to working with us to improve our security and loss prevention profile while managing cost through investment in technology stood out. They were also able to demonstrate how they would support us with the ongoing recruitment and development of our in-house teams which made them the obvious choice to partner with for the next three years.”

Earl Knight, Consortio Security’s CEO, commented: “Consortio Security are proud to have been selected to protect the people, property, assets and the brand of The Range for the next three years and beyond. We are confident that our ethos of working in partnership with our clients will ensure we achieve their objectives and exceed their high expectations.”

Waste Management and Recycling Survey

FMJ in conjunction with Grundon Waste Management have launched the 2022 survey into how FMs approach their waste management and recycling responsibilities.

It’s the fifth year for the annual appraisal, and as we return to normal, there is a real opportunity for FMs to reappraise their waste and recycling operations and look at new, smarter waste management strategies.

In order to understand how FMs have navigated their way through the last year and their plans for meeting stringent waste and recycling targets we’ve posed a series of questions which include insights into FMs’ waste management strategy and targets, such as zero waste and landfill, the types of waste organisations produce and what helps FMs promote waste management in their organisations?

Please share your experiences and opinions on waste management. The survey will take just five minutes to complete, and as a thank you for taking part, respondents will be entered into a prize draw to win a £150 Amazon gift card.
