COO appointment at Carlisle Support Services

Carlisle Support Services has appointed Adrian White to the new role of Chief Operating Officer (COO).

White, who has been with Carlisle for the last two decades, most recently as Managing Director for the company’s Security and Events (South) division, including Retail Merchandising, will now take take up day-to-day operational responsibility and financial accountability for all divisions within Carlisle Support Services with immediate effect.

Paul Evans, CEO at Carlisle Support Services commented: In-line with the need to appoint a successor to Adrian’s previous role, we have also taken the opportunity to review our internal structures accordingly albeit we don’t foresee any immediate changes to functional operations at contract level. Once finalised the appointed Managing Directors, and divisional teams, will report upwards to Adrian, who in turn shall report to myself as CEO.

“Naturally as CEO, I will maintain visibility across our client and employee communities albeit my desire is to allow Adrian to have autonomy to control the operational service delivery aspects of our business. Since 2015 we have grown from 1,600 Carlisle family members to some 4,750 and we remain committed to ensuring our business structure is adapting sufficiently to meet the ongoing needs of both communities.”

Creating a positive visitor experience in a Hybrid world of work

While some personnel are finally returning to the office – the great majority of organisations (up to 83 per cent) anticipate a hybrid mix of on-premises and working from home to continue for the foreseeable future.

This means that when it comes to providing access to the workplace, where once it was simply enough to maintain a welcoming reception for visitors, organisations today must also keep a close eye on access permissions in real-time to keep buildings safe and secure while ensuring they comply with compliance.

Pitney Bowes Smart Access Management in association with FMJ has produced a new White Paper which explains how to create a welcoming, actively managed environment for authorised people.

It explains how new Smart Access Management™ (SAM) delivers a complete, real-time and data-driven view of all your people, visitors and contractors, to help give you greater control and visibility.
