Moneypenny partners with IWFM Women in FM SIG

Outsourced communications provider, Moneypenny, has partnered with the Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management’s (IWFM) Special Interest Group (SIG) Women in FM for the next 12 months.

IWFM’s Women in FM SIG strives to encourage inclusivity for all and focus on continuing professional development. The group offers advice and guidance to help female FMs develop their skills and knowledge, raise their profile in the profession and make the most of professional development opportunities, including networking events.

The new partnership will see Moneypenny sponsor the group over the next year, acting as a source of insight for members looking to improve their customer journey and enrich the working life of front of house staff using technology.

Jess Pritchard, Head of Corporate at Moneypenny

Jess Pritchard, Head of Corporate at Moneypenny said: “This partnership presents a fantastic opportunity for Moneypenny to further strengthen its position within the world of FM. As a business that benefits from the talents of so many brilliant women – both employees and clients – we’re passionate about equipping them with the tools they require to make a difference in their workplace.

“I look forward to working closely with the Group and learning from each other over the coming months.”

Nicola Lathbury, IWFM Women in FM SIG Chair, commented: “IWFM’s SIGs are a place to seek expertise, opinion and guidance. They act as a hub of knowledge and encourage member interaction and networking through relevant opportunities.

“We’re always looking to partner with organisations that understand the unique challenges and opportunities faced by women in the FM sector and with so many years of experience working within the industry, Moneypenny is a great fit. I’ve no doubt both our members and Moneypenny will see great value in the partnership.”

On 28 September, Moneypenny will be attending the Women in FM Annual Conference which addresses this year’s International Women’s Day theme of #Breakingthebias.

Creating a positive visitor experience in a Hybrid world of work

While some personnel are finally returning to the office – the great majority of organisations (up to 83 per cent) anticipate a hybrid mix of on-premises and working from home to continue for the foreseeable future.

This means that when it comes to providing access to the workplace, where once it was simply enough to maintain a welcoming reception for visitors, organisations today must also keep a close eye on access permissions in real-time to keep buildings safe and secure while ensuring they comply with compliance.

Pitney Bowes Smart Access Management in association with FMJ has produced a new White Paper which explains how to create a welcoming, actively managed environment for authorised people.

It explains how new Smart Access Management™ (SAM) delivers a complete, real-time and data-driven view of all your people, visitors and contractors, to help give you greater control and visibility.
