Sanaway recognises internal talent with promotion

Clinical waste, washroom services, and matting provider, Sanaway, has promoted Washroom Service Agent, Matt Illsley, who has been working for the company for five years, to the new position of Senior Service Engineer.

In his new role, Illsley oversees operations and logistics while managing a team of Washroom Service Agents that service customers across London and the South and West of England regions.

Commenting on the promotion, Sanaway Co-founding Director, Graham Key says: “We are committed to investing in our people by equipping them with the training, skills, and opportunities to grow, and so we are proud to fill this role through an internal promotion.

“Since joining our company, Matt has demonstrated many great qualities that have helped single him out for this promotion. He has an innate ability to engage with our customers in a positive and friendly manner, and he consistently delivers the exceptionally high standard of service that makes Sanaway stand out in the washroom services industry. His reliability and excellent organisational skills will complement this new role, and we look forward to watching him develop his career further while leading our team of Washroom Service Agents.”

Of his new role, Illsley said: “I am delighted to receive this promotion. It was unexpected and I am looking forward to collaborating with the team and to new challenges that lay ahead. As well as training up new service agents, I start training to gain an HGV license as part of the role, which is something that I have always wanted to do. I am proud to work with Sanaway and take great pride in delivering exceptional service while building strong, lasting relationships with our customers.”

Sanaway, a family run business based in Surrey, operates without call centres, ensuring direct communication and swift response times with its dedicated, uniformed staff. The company says its commitment to raising the bar across all elements of its operations has led to impressive year-on-year growth and 95 per cent client retention.
