Storing liquid fuel on your premises?

Whatever fuel you’re storing – petrol, diesel, oil, biofuels, waste oil or LPG -there are regulatory requirements you need to meet to stay compliant.

Oil Storage Regulations for Business are set by the UK Government and state:

“You must follow the rules on storing oil if you have an oil storage container with a capacity of 201 litres +. You risk a fine or prosecution if you do not follow the requirements. The Environment Agency can also serve an anti-pollution works notice to make you bring your oil store up to legal standards.”
