Contract caterer, Wilson Vale, has been appointed catering partner at St John’s Beaumont School, a historic preparatory school in Old Windsor.
Founded in 1888, St John’s Beaumont has built an impressive reputation over more than 135 years for combining tradition with a modern and ambitious approach to education. Set within approximately 50 acres of woodland and playing fields on the edge of Windsor Great Park, the school provides an inspiring setting for pupils aged three to thirteen to learn, grow and thrive.
The school is widely recognised for preparing pupils for entry to some of the country’s most prestigious senior schools, including Eton College, Harrow School, Wellington College and Winchester College.
The partnership with Wilson Vale will see the delivery of fresh, nutritious and imaginative menus for pupils, staff and visitors. The caterer will also work closely with the school community to create a dining experience that supports pupils’ wellbeing and complements the school’s values.
Headmaster of St John’s Beaumont, Philip Barr, said: “We are delighted to welcome Wilson Vale to our school community. Their chef-led approach and clear commitment to quality dining aligns closely with our ethos of providing the very best environment for our pupils. Mealtimes are an important part of the school day, and we are excited to work together to ensure they are both nutritious and enjoyable for our children.”
Phil Hindmarch, Operations Managing Director of Wilson Vale, added: “St John’s Beaumont is a remarkable school with a clear vision for the care and wellbeing of their pupils. The school has a wonderful sense of community and values the tailored support, collaboration and dedicated time and resource our team can provide. We are excited to be able to elevate the dining experience and play a positive part in daily school life.”
