Acquisition strengthens Complii’s water compliance offering

Building safety and regulatory compliance services provider, Complii, has acquired Sweetbriar Limited, based in Chandlers Ford, Hampshire.

Founded in 2004, Sweetbriar Limited provides water hygiene, water treatment and Legionella control services to clients across England and Wales. The business has built a strong reputation for high-quality, service-led water compliance, backed by an experienced team.

Sarah Dixon, CEO of Complii, said: “Sweetbriar is a business built on genuine technical expertise and a real commitment to doing right by its customers – qualities that make them an excellent fit for Complii. Their team’s depth of experience in water hygiene and legionella control strengthens our water offering considerably, and I’m delighted to welcome Matthew, Seb, and the whole Sweetbriar team to the Group.”

Seb Gray, incoming Managing Director of Sweetbriar Limited, welcomed the acquisition as an exciting next step for the business and its team: “Joining Complii gives Sweetbriar access to greater resources and reach, while allowing us to continue delivering the same high standard of service our clients have come to expect. The shared focus on compliance and quality made Complii a natural partner, and we’re looking forward to being part of something bigger.”

The acquisition further enhances Complii’s position as a comprehensive building compliance partner and builds on the company’s ‘buy and build’ growth strategy. Other recent acquisitions across the Group, include Celtic Fire Security, Classic Lifts (Scotland) Limited, The Escalator Company, Parr Fire Protection Services, and Tay Fire and Security.
