Bellrock acquires carbon consulting and software analytics business

Bellrock Property & Facilities Management Ltd has announced its first acquisition into the decarbonisation market having acquired carbon consulting and software analytics business, Carbon Architecture Ltd.

Founded in 2009, Carbon Architecture has developed the use of data analytics to enhance the information provided by existing Building Management Systems, identifying energy usage trends and developing AI and machine learning into its solutions to help predict future energy patterns and usage.

Will Todd, Carbon Architecture’s CEO, will become the new Managing Director of Bellrock’s new Energy Consulting and Analytics offering.

Speaking about the acquisition Todd said: “This acquisition is really exciting for Carbon Architecture. We needed to enable growth by offering our services to a wider audience – Bellrock offers a base of some 900 clients in our target sectors, a number of complementary services, and the size and credibility to underpin our mission, while keeping everything about our business that makes us successful.”

Paul Bean, CEO, Bellrock Property & Facilities Management commented: “We are delighted to welcome Will Todd and the Carbon Architecture team to Bellrock and are very excited to have the opportunity to work with experts in decarbonisation a topic that we are passionate about. We are thrilled that we will now have a deeper offering for our customers in assisting them on their journey to net zero. Carbon Architecture will establish a new division to lead our decarbonisation strategy and recognising the importance of this Will Todd will report directly to me.”
