Mitie secured two prestigious honours at the Hospitality Assured Awards 2026, recognising excellence in customer experience, leadership and integrated facilities management.
The organisation received the Highest Scoring Newcomer Award following its first full Hospitality Assured assessment on the EY Integrated Facilities Management contract, achieving an outstanding World Class result.
The assessment recognised the close collaboration between Mitie and its Journey Partners, demonstrating how integrated teams across workplace services, hospitality, food services, document management and audiovisual support are delivering a seamless experience for colleagues, clients and visitors.
Rebecca Hedworth also received individual recognition as Hospitality Assured Champion 2026 acknowledging her outstanding leadership, commitment and contribution to embedding customer experience and service excellence throughout the organisation.
Max Lawrence, Hospitality Assured Director, said: “Mitie’s achievement demonstrates how customer experience can become the common language across a complex integrated facilities management contract. Achieving World Class status as a newcomer is an exceptional accomplishment and reflects the commitment shown by colleagues across every service line. Rebecca Hedworth’s award is equally well deserved and reflects the leadership required to embed a culture of continuous service excellence.”
The awards, which celebrate organisations and individuals that continue to raise standards across hospitality, workplace services and facilities management, were presented during the Institute of Hospitality’s Annual Dinner and Hospitality Assured Awards at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House, London, last week.
