Moneypenny creates new role to boost ESG priorities

Outsourced communications provider, Moneypenny, has appointed Sophie Hughes-Saunier to the newly created role of ESG Coordinator.

Hughes-Saunier has been at Moneypenny since February 2014, working in the SME clients team. She has a particularly strong passion for environmental matters and her new appointment will see her encompass activities relating to ESG (Environment, Social, and Governance).

Speaking about her new role Hughes-Saunier said: “I love the fact that this new role allows me to collaborate with all areas of the business, to make Moneypenny an even better company.  I’m looking forward to taking on more responsibility for a wider range of ESG plans and policies, to make a real difference. I have a lifelong passion for environmental and social sustainability, so I relish the opportunity to continue to help make Moneypenny an outstanding place to work by doing the right thing for our team, this community, and the world around us.”

Joanna Swash, CEO of Moneypenny, added: “This new ESG role represents a major milestone in Moneypenny’s development, and we are delighted that Sophie is taking on the challenge to ensure ESG matters are central to all our operations. We’ve always been proud of the work we’ve done to enhance the lives of our people, of those in our local community, and of the environment in which we live and work, and we look forward to implementing further initiatives to enhance the happiness of all.”

Established in 2000, more than 21,000 businesses globally benefit from Moneypenny’s telephone answering, live chat, outsourced switchboard, and customer contact solutions.
